The restoration of the Society
Restoring what was lost
The original Livesay Historical Society enjoyed a long and meaningful history of national reunions, newsletters, genealogical research, and sharing information about Livesay family heritage.
After the Society’s leaders grew older, James—who maintained the website at LHSociety.org—passed away. The organization’s leadership officially dissolved its 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in 2012.
But, as Scripture speaks of bringing beauty from ashes, we are restoring what was lost.
