A tradition worth restoring

National reunions connected generations.

The former Livesay Historical Society held annual meetings in cities tied to members, research, and family history. Programs combined historical speakers, Society business, shared meals, local tours, music, dancing, awards, and long conversations among cousins meeting for the first time or renewing old friendships.

The reunion photographs preserve something that records alone cannot: family history as a living relationship. The renewed Society honors that tradition while future plans are developed.
